1961 BSA 650cc RGS Replica

The vendor has kindly supplied the following information:

This BSA began life in 1961 as a 650cc Super Rocket. Now it's a Rocket Gold Star. The short lived but highly acclaimed twin, which marked the end of the A10 range. Okay so it's a replica  but the only difference between this and the real McCoy is the engine number.

The bike was bought by Tony Allen in 2004 and the refurbishment completed in 2005. After attending the 205 Thundersprint event and winning the Best Overall trophy which was presented by six times world champion Jim Redman, the bike was bought in 2006 by Len Hattersley who had the engine, gearbox and frame completely rebuilt by Graham Horne, a well respected ex-BSA employee and production racer.

I bought from Len in 2007 and have spent many a happy hour reliving my youth on the open road!
