**SOLD** 1963 Heinkel Trojan Tricycle & Trailer

Description

1963 Heinkel Trojan Tricycle & Trailer

The Heinkel Kabine was a microcar designed by Heinkel Flugzeugwerke and built from 1956 to 1958. Production was transferred under licence to Dundalk Engineering Company in Ireland in 1958. However, this relationship didn't last long due to poor quality control. UK Production then restarted in 1960 under the Trojan 200 name by Trojan Cars Ltd in the UK. Production continued until 1966. The Kabine had a steel body with access to the interior by opening a large front door. In order not to infringe Iso Rivolta's patent used on the Isetta, the steering wheel did not hinge outwards. However, unlike some other bubble cars it did feature a reverse gear.

The fabric sunroof doubles as an emergency escape hatch should the front door become jammed.

The car we have here was manufactured in 1963 and was restored some years ago.

The vendor has added the following:-

  • Parts manual supplied.
  • Heinkel Trojan club books from 2011.
  • MOT certificates from 1989 ~ 2015.
  • Starts and drives as it should.

The large series of photographs and video display the overall condition of the car, however, we always strongly suggest you book a viewing slot.

Please note that descriptions are produced from information provided by the vendors. We highly recommend that you view in person any potential purchase and take time to inspect paperwork - please call us to arrange an appointment on 01751 477555. Thank you
