**SOLD** 1971 NSU Prinz 4L
The vendor has kindly supplied the following:
- The NSU is the forerunner of Audi - this car won second prize in the “Metal” Class in the September 2019 Microcar Show in Somerset (trophy included)
- Has been resident in a classic car museum for 15 years, but is now in regular use.
- Drove from W London to Somerset and back again, and all around the venue all with no problems, it was an enjoyable drive!
- Original and unrestored but repainted at some time.
- Some welding required in the rear floor and rear wheel arches.
- Technically very advanced for its time, it is fitted with a 600cc air cooled twin cylinder engine with overhead camshaft and a cross flow head with inclined valves, which produces 30Bhp at 5500 rpm.
- Front suspension is double wishbones and coil springs all round with alloy drum brakes. The four speed gearbox is all synchro.
- The seats are fully adjustable and can be reclined. Face level ventilation and selectable heating to screen or cabin. Fitted with electronic ignition and electric fuel pump.
- Has a new exhaust system, new rear engine mounts and the doors and front screen have new moulding and trim. The headlining has been replaced.
- Comes with some spares plus lots of paperwork with it. including original Owners hand book and a folder of history. Most parts are readily available
- Now MOT exempt and free Road Tax.
