Description

**SOLD**

1945 Fordson 5cwt Van (EO4C)

The vendor has kindly supplied the following information:

Very smart and rare van, owned and loved by the vendor for the last 18 years. It is remarkably rust free with good paint and nicely trimmed interior. Substantial work carried out by the previous owner in 1980's and continual care and improvement since. It is a veteran of many road runs- HCVS London to Brighton, Under Milk Wood, Great West Road Run etc.

During ownership the vendor has rebuilt the engine, fitted a 'new old stock' gearbox, new clutch, carried out a useful conversion to 12 volts, fitted period 'Pigs ears' indicators amongst a host of work which makes the van mechanically very sound and enjoyable to drive - ready to go on its next adventure.

History, old MOT's and an invoice for work in 1988 (£2875.00)
