Description
SOLD 1965 - 68 Villiers Sprite
Sprite was a small British Company set up by Frank Hipkins from 1965-1971. Mainly producing trials bikes and scramblers, originally using modified Cotton frames but they soon developed their own frame. A larger frame was developed to accept a 500cc Triumph unit engine for the large class of scrambling.
This bike underwent a complete overhaul in 2012/2013 and is said by our vendor to be in good condition. The wheels were respoked on original Dunlop rims, a new chain and sprocket were fitted and engine stripped and rebuilt. Since the rebuild, the bike has not been used - please note that there are no documents with the bike.
