1995 Vauxhall Cavalier 2.0 16V GLS

1995 Vauxhall Cavalier 2.0 16V GLS

The vendor has supplied the following information.

For sale - VERY reluctantly, due to change in personal circumstances - is my cherished Cavalier. I've been umm-ing and arr-ing about selling it or not, I've listed it before, then changed my mind. But the reality is, to facilitate our forthcoming house move, it has to go.
It's a 1995 Cavalier 2.0 16-valve 4-door saloon in metallic Velvet Green. It's a GLS model, so it's got a lot of nice little luxury touches, without being ostentatious. It's got a 5-speed manual gearbox and X20XEV Eco-Tec engine.
It has covered only 42,500 miles from new - YES, you did read that right, FORTY-TWO AND A HALF THOUSAND miles from new. The DVLA history backs this up. I'm led to believe that one old boy owned it for about 19 / 20 years or so.
She drives just like brand new: no noises, rattles, knocks or whines - she glides along as sweet as a nut, and being a 2.0-litre, she keeps up with modern traffic on any dual carriageway. And shows them a clean pair of heels if you turn the taps on.
There is NO RUST on this car - ANYWHERE. NOT A SPOT. It has been garaged ALL IT'S LIFE and continues to be, under my ownership. It has been professionally Waxoyled underneath. Everything is present and correct, including the full size steel spare wheel with a tyre that looks like it's never seen the road. The tyres all have plenty of tread. The car is completely original apart from an SRi backbox, fitted by the previous owner, giving it a nice burble on acceleration; and I have added a subtle tint to the side and rear windows - nothing too much, all road legal, just for aesthetic purposes. The tints can be removed if that is your desire. A set of 4 HEKO air deflectors put the cherry on the cake, well complimented by all new name badges sourced and fitted.
She is taxed until 31st January 2020, and MOTd until 5th June 2020, with no advisories. Not ONE! When I collected it from the MOT centre, the guys words to me were "We literally couldn't find anything wrong with it".

The V5 is present, in my name (I'm a private owner, not a trader) and the car comes with an immaculate Haynes manual, and some sales brochures. The alloy wheels were refurbished in November 2017.

It is a guaranteed head-turner - watch the drivers of oncoming cars gawp at you in amazement! Even the little torch light in the door key still works!
In conclusion, this is a very tidy, very original, very low mileage example of the classic 90's motorway stormer. There is a resurgence of interest in 1990s cars now, and here is your chance to own a fantastic one. Yes, you might find a cheaper Cavalier, but I am certain that you will not find a better Cavalier - I honestly believe this is one of the very best Mark 3 Cavaliers on the road. I repeat - YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER EXAMPLE than this one. This really is one for the connoisseur!
