1984 Austin Ambassador 2.0 HL
The Austin Ambassador was introduced by Austin in March 1982. The vehicle was a heavily updated version of the Austin Princess. Only the doors and inner structure were carried over, but the wedge-shaped side profile betrayed the car's Princess origins, and it was not considered a truly new model.
The Princess had been out of production for four months by the time that the Ambassador went on sale 1982. The model bridged the cap between the smaller Morris Ital and the Rover SD1.
The example we have here is the 2 litre HL model and has only 2 former keepers recorded on the V5, with the current registered keeper purchasing in 2006.
VOSA list a mileage on the vehicle since 2012 slowly climbing from 46,000 to the present 55,000. We also have older MOT certificates with the eldest being 2006 @ 38.997
The car is supplied with a nice history folder containing various invoices etc.
