1965 Jaguar MKII
This beautiful example is finished in Old English White with stunning red upholstery and walnut dash and cappings. Fitted chrome wire wheels, Moto-Lita woodrim and the most important overdrive gearbox. An enormous history file includes some eye watering receipts, M.O.T history, an insurance valuation of £28,000 and a current HPI report. A breakdown of works carried out since its arrival from South Africa when purchased by Newell and Wright of Sheffield in October 2002 makes interesting reading. We have clearly exposed and verified the chassis and engine numbers which confirm it originally being a 3.4 with the existing 3.8 fitted as an upgrade.
Owned by the vendor since 2008 and driven by him 200 miles to the sale with no issues. We can confirm the car drives beautifully. Much admired while on display prior to the auction and rarely available with such a comprehensive history. NOT TO BE MISSED.
